Virus been a big problem hereI don't know if this is the reason but down here a lot of rearers with serious virus pneumonia problems
I would say calves and young cattle are a good buy at the minute if prices stay where they are or continue to improve, I guess the longer the prices stay good the more the younger stuff will get dragged up
£150? Buy me some! @average farmer
I need to find out who will supply it for that money, I can’t get near that delivered! You’ll have to collect at that !
What price are you getting?I need to find out who will supply it for that money, I can’t get near that delivered!
29 ton tipped, £160. I assume @casper74 price is what one of his local mills is offering delivered in. I can’t see many takers, YET. The way it’s drifting they might do soon. I expect mills are quiet, the price compounds are I’m not surprised. I fail to see how beef nuts at £320 plus made from barley at £150 is going to endear them to customers any time soon eitherWhat price are you getting?
Bought off a farm, they wanted the shed emptying by the weekend and he was happy to deliver it this week.29 ton tipped, £160. There is that, I have told the merchants I deal with two row varieties only, worth it for a couple of quid. I have seen some of the six row that is floating about or is that blowing about. SnuffsThere’s some very poor samples of barley kicking about.
