time I retired I think,

The only thing is,
Mortgage paid off,
Kids left home , and independent,
Draw your pension,
You realise how old you are,
Retire, and lots of travelling I think,

You might think you are well off but you are of that generation.... born to post war parents.

Don't light the candles and you can use them for your 69th birthday and your 99th.

Have you been on the north island yet?
If you are look up Gibbs Farm .
No, unfortunately we're short on time. Spending some time with daughter and partner at beginning and end.
Would like to say we intend coming back to do North Island and a bit more of south....... but will probably have to wait until wife retires, so we can go for a decent amount of time - next time........ it's a hell of a long way to go, so 4 weeks-ish would be ideal

Does your daughter and partner live in nz?
Go and see the artwork on the beach at Hokitika it’s all out of driftwood .

Working out here and travelling around. They're hoping to do parts of Australia too
How are you sorting your accommodation, as you go?
We have a route planned, with places to see and are using an app to sort sites out...... when not "freedom camping"
