It doesn't really make a bale, more like a bundle of straw with some string around it, so you get the full length of the straw without it being compressed.Out of curiosity why is that baler suited to thatching straw?
Very low density doesn’t crush the straw??
They have a wider chamber than a round baler so it doesn’t bend the butt ends and yes the low density doesn’t damage as much reed. We have to just cut out a few metal guide things just above the pick up reel and your good to go.Out of curiosity why is that baler suited to thatching straw?
