You sure that’s not an age related accident…Think it’s time for some fresh waterproofs

Not a bad system. It costs more in feed from thin to half fleshed than it does from half fleshed to fat. Neighbour has had some away similar type system got them away this week too.Yes, was pleased with them, never had mules grade as well I don't think but were no different to the ABP ones

We used to send them onto a dairy farm years ago near Longtown got them straightened out a bit then just ran them into the mart. Folks say it’s wet now but that was back in the 80’s 90’s and more often than not the wet got the better of us and we had to get them away just ran them into the mart. A few bad years of milk prices and the odd bit of hope with the sheep job the fella decided to keep some sheep of his own and run the same system himself. Think he sold up after that. Dairy grass is much better than anything we have. Father used to talk about ground getting ‘sheep sick’ something you don’t hear much about now. Sheep do much better on ground that hasn’t had sheep on for a while. And there’s the rest of it they know how to grow good grass. Ours just been bit less this time , that drought may and June knocked them I think, but these were 20kg av so not so bad
Did they move mid week?No just 25 I think
That’s basically what it’s like here. It runs out of piffYes , really thrive on the dairy farm where no sheep been, yes they re-seed and slurry.
Can't do it here after September without cake
