Don't chip it

Remap the ECU

Power chips just increase fuel rail pressure and/or increase injector open duration

Modern engines stuffed with emissions bollox really don't like dealing with the extra soot

Remap will 'properly' analyse speed and load, and alter injection timing and duration. You'll get increased power without excess inefficiently burnt fuel getting pushed up the pipe

I've no idea how many more ponies your goat will happily live with, but plenty get tweaked to ludicrous numbers by the derv doctor

Hi,
What would be a safe horsepower to chip a 6215r too.
Currently 223 at shaft.
Brilliant tractor with autoquad box
Would it be safe at 260?
We chipped a 2016 6155r up to 200 at the shaft with a steinbauer and ran it to to 5000 hrs with no issues .

Local contractor did the same with his 2015 6215r it's got high hours on now they just sold it recently and no issues no idea on hp but it was a steinbauer chip as well

Best option is remap while on Dyno by someone who knows what they are doing (but how you judge that I don't know). Nowt wrong with steinbauer boxes by number out there I'd assume.
To be fair it's not hp that's lacking it's torque and how the power/torque curve is set with factory software which due to emissions regs is lacking, they want to keep engine revs up where they burn cleaner.
