Today at work

Is it on Warwick Castle Park, the river meadows?

If so, I have spread lime on it all for the previous tenants, but not the current tenants.

I used to love going on that farm, a real gem of a spot.

Lost traction on the Big A once coming down the steepest bit of the grass banks , the meadow that curves round towards Lord Brooks Clump.
I did manage to recover it before I demolished the barbed wire fence!!

Day 5 of fine weather 😲 Amazing how quickly things start to alter. I'm actually walking on top of the sh*t, rather than clarting about 3 inches down in it 👍
So much so, I've taken the lambs off suicide watch 👌😊 (they were on the edge last week 🤨)

I've had a few hours of fun on that meadow in the snow years ago. I kept a little pony back in the yard and it had a bit of a crash course in carriage driving. Short version was I bought some harness at a sale that looked the right size, consulted my Pony Club Manual I had kept from my childhood that had a couple of pages on driving and set off. I didn't have a carriage, so I tied an old fert big bag with some straw in it and held on. We got the hang of it after a while, bloody good fun though
