I pulled up at the market docks one day and there was a big fergie and a trailer like that sitting beside me.
I pointed out to the driver he hadnt retracted the drawbar hook on the tractor!
The trailer was still hitched on and he had travelled through town like that. Very lucky it didn't unhitch and kill someone
He was spitting mad and swearing, a young lad on the farm had hitched it up for him (but he should have checked it imo)

I stopped a John Deere a few years ago with an old lorry trailer on a dolly, loaded with spud planting equipment. As he went across the junction I was waiting at, I saw his hook wasn’t pulled in, with just the weight of the trailer holding it on, and he had come through Lincoln !
