It’s ridiculous. Although there does come a point when dealing with such scum where it does worry you that they might have someone follow you home to find out where your family live
. As much as I’m in favour of storming such places and hanging the owners over the gateways. Being caught in possession of multiple stolen goods and being known to the police as a bad un would be enough to warrant the rope.One of the wife’s friends married a copper down Leicester. He’s a good laugh and is already becoming disillusioned with the whole job. But he was saying they keep “Big Paul” in the office. If something looks like being rough or they’re dealing with a proper bunch of bad uns they let Big Paul out and send him in first. He goes in, knocks f**k out of all of them and then they get him gone back to the office quick and go in en masse to clean up after him and make arrests.

I would agree with you there. But we had turkey last night for tea. I asked the wife where she’s had it from “oh I found it in the little chest freezer while looking for some mince” that was left over from Christmas 21.

Cleared out a few ram hoggs at Welshpool this morning. 7 Charollais 53.5kg @ £203, 5 Texlana 55kg @ £194 and another (nicer type) Texlana 48kg @ £166. Weight definitely wanted.
All pretty lean tbh, and claggy from a winter on very wet stubble turnips. Not sure they'd have made any more for holding them a month to clean & flesh up properly.

I saw a few in Skipton as I dropped some off. Pure Charolais spring lambs 43-48kg £190-210. Dalesbred hoggs 31kg £80, 33kg £86. Plain texel hogs £3.60-3.80/kg

From a distance they looked healthy and a decent size but lean. A month on some spring grass would have made a world of difference

I think there was around 4000 in, the trade would be back about £4 compared to last week but seemed a better trade than Thursday, I'm happy enough to be honest if the trade can stick there its fine

Local scroat has been locked up for 10 weeks now, nice without him.
No idea when he will be released, what sort of crime have they done for 10 weeks plus? I'm guessing not shop lifting sweets.
