Came in for a cup of tea and some tit got jammed in the gateway outside I’ve politely told them what I think off to calve a cow now

Ben the vet said you could yesterday when wife spoke to him. We couldn't last time we had it years ago. I think @neilo uses it but may import himself.
Thanks, another job to fit in I think for next year but better than a storm next lambing. First outbreak we had was 36 years ago, year we got married, a third of them aborted.Yes, Campyvax. It has to be imported under license from NZ.
It is imported by some vet wholesalers, but obviously they take a healthy margin for doing so. I import it myself, with a license my vet gets for me. Costs me about 55p/dose doing it that way, half of which is the shipping.
You give two doses before the first tipping, then an annual booster. Most just do them as lambs and shearlings, then they get immune from natural exposure later.
I've picked up a couple this week so far, this weather can't be helpingLost 3 healthy looking lambs with pulpy kidney this week. None of them 3 weeks old yet
