You get what you see with a trailer,no engines gearbox etc it is what it is!Which is why your just as well.buy a new one.
Trailers don't seem to suffer depreciation as bad as most things for some reason.
That’s where I’m going wrong, every single trailer we’ve ever had rusted away! No trailers here now, come on the back of someone else’s tractor! One of which is a KTwo!You get what you see with a trailer,no engines gearbox etc it is what it is!
Look after them and it's like money in the bank.
They lost a court case over patent to grasshopper mowers.Have they gone bang before??
A new 16-21L six weeks ago was £26060.Thought these ex hire trailers looked better buy than new for all we do.View attachment 1173581
Didn't worry me, I stuck with Grasshopper! They lost a court case over patent to grasshopper mowers.
They had to stop making mowers and binned all the spares.
Left me and plenty others high and dry
So no where near 2k a ton!A new 16-21L six weeks ago was £26060.

Not really very informative... From WHERE to England?Know of a haulier who was flat out taking trailers for a local company to England, he’s took one load this year just, and their books are empty for abroad too
Northern Ireland at a guess .Not really very informative... From WHERE to England?

I sold my last grasshopper as i was too scared to use it.Didn't worry me, I stuck with Grasshopper!
Still got one here with a nylon brush conditioner on the back that gets occasional use. There's times when it's the right tool for the job.

Terry was the designer for Caulfields then decided to steal the design and rename it, I used to see him at Agritechnica on a quiet Saturday before the show stealing Fliegels ideas alongside Larrington with a good camera. They lost a court case over patent to grasshopper mowers.

They certainly pee'd on anyone who bought their mowers. Good machines but they nocked off the patent and got caught which is bad luck, but why bin all the spares? The Jamaicans have an expression that roughly means ‘you can pissssss in the river all you want but at some point you will need to take a drink’.
Strange, most gearboxes are Italian and easily found. Cannot think ktwo used anything over and above the basic. They certainly pee'd on anyone who bought their mowers. Good machines but they nocked off the patent and got caught which is bad luck, but why bin all the spares?
All the spare gearboxes were sold to an Austrian company , and it wasnt easy or cheap getting one
Shoud have said my £2k quote had 650 tyres with tyre inflationSo no where near 2k a ton!
His ‘’enthusiasm’’ to try and fckkkkk the mother ship at any available turn May of been a contributing factor in their demise, he eloped to Heath then of to some Devon lad to make trailers then a polish lot for muckspreaders so his integrity is similar to a hyena.Yes, Paul is the son, his enthusiasm and knowledge for the spreaders was one of the main reasons I bought them
