HmmmCause everyone and their aunty will keep a ruck of hoggs
Keep 100 less ewes and run 200 hoggs through?Hmmm
I'm thinking thats what I'll do here, as I,ve lost some winter ewe grazingKeep 100 less ewes and run 200 hoggs through?
I think a lot of people will do that, especially if ewes are dear. Keep all the small lambs and not spend much on them to finish on spring grass.Keep 100 less ewes and run 200 hoggs through?
You’re going to have to learn to adapt and breed things to suit your farm….It's been wet for that long now does anyone think it will ever dry up now or is it the new normal cos it's terrible for farming if it is
At least you've made us laugh! You’re going to have to learn to adapt and breed things to suit your farm….

Keep all the gimmers then they can go either way if neededI'm thinking thats what I'll do here, as I,ve lost some winter ewe grazing
May will be fine it’s June I worry aboutIf they're fit now, you'd need some iron testicles to hold them until this May I reckon.
That said, any teg I have that slips or has a dead lamb currently is being left dry, with a view to clearing them out fat in May.
When they start to dry out and thrive those bellies will all fall offOurs need to lose some clods first, don’t fancy bellying a load
