China is definitely not the future
Quite agree , writing this on my Chinese made Ipad while watching my chinese made flat screen tv sitting on my possibly chinese made sofa with my feet up on a Chinese made coffee table. The coffee table was supposed to be made in Suffolk but am certain all they did was open the box

Saw one of those BYD (Build Your Dreams) cars the other day, looked sharp in the boring modern SUV way - dilemma let Chinese EVs in to reduce carbon and kill UK car industry or not.

The truth is that Musk and Tesla have not put enough work into the next generation of cars. All Teslas look the same and the same is getting very tired.

The truth is that his products were not that good and he was swept to fame merely by investor sentiment and talking himself up because he is an egotistical goon. I said this at the outset the moment I saw the first few Teslas about. They didn't look all that clever as a product in such a crowded marketplace a and it takes a lot of time and engineering skill to properly design and make acceptable cars as a consumer proposition. The reality is that the technology in electric motors isn't that amazing given that you can guy the things off the shelf and a lithium ion battery isn't exactly the work of a masterpiece, either. As I predicted, now Porsche, Audi, Toyota and Kia etc are in on the game suddenly it's not so rosy.

Not saying they are.
You have to open your eyes and look at the country’s they are operating in. And the infrastructure they own .
China are just about to start operating in Africa with one of the biggest iron ore quarry in the world with 13.5 billion tonnes coming out to be shipped back to china for steel manufacturing.
This is phase one .
And going to open up more .
