I have the above mower. When mowing a thick crop of grass it makes a perfect job, but if its a light crop it leaves strips between the discs. Very frustrating, seem to have tried everything to rectify, slowed down speed, changed blades etc. Any ideas......

Using a Bomford 5.4 Hawk with pro flails. When cutting thickish growth rotor speed drops/stalls. Is this a sign that the filters need changing or oil level is low in main tank?
