Hmmm. I think I am going to give the j flail a go. I find that my whale tails are more beating the grass into submission than cutting, but then again, I haven't kept them sharp.
I have a Bomford flail mower and the stock whale tail flails will need replacing next year. I recall a few threads on this in the past. Was it Y tails that were deemed the best as all rounders in grass, rushes and an occasional bit of bramble?
It wasn't the V6 model. I don't know what the build time is for those. It was for the previous engined model. I had to look up the details though. It wasn't a "limited". It was an "ultimate" edition. Sorry for causing confusion...
I suppose if you are cutting continuously throughout the year, then this would be something for me to worry about, but with my relative light use, I guess I'll stick with Stihl.
If you are in your 20s and you think that manual shifting makes you feel more like a real manly man, then go manual. If you have grown up and can't be dealing with that stick and clutch bs, then go for auto.
I love my Navara, but the Amarok is simply streets ahead. My father has one and I'll probably be getting the v6 model, if I decide to upgrade my 2013 Navara. It's only on 32000 miles, so upgrading is not a high priority right now.
