You can get a single phase converter for 3 phase machinery, I'm not sure how expensive that is though. We are lucky enough to have 3 phase in the workshop, but I don't currently have any equipment that uses it.

We managed to enlist some friends and their families into our ranks this week - they came for a visit but were quickly put to work finishing off a conversion to one of our barns and then out feeding the pigs.

Tensioned the blade and now it cuts near enough vertical.
Have 2 new bades for it - one 10tpi and a 14tpi - will be interesting to see if that makes the cut perfect. Having a day where we are not going down to the farm so I cant check!
Just acquired this fantastic old Rapidor Manchester machine - I'm sure plenty of you have them.
Needs a few tweaks as I think the blade is supposed to lift at the end of a cut. But its a nice quiet way to cut steel if your not in a rush.
