Did you take out battery try to access sensor? Looks like radiator would have to come out to do this? Or did you mage to get it out without removing anything?

    6920s tls level sensor

My 6920s is after throwing a tls level sensor warning. Was on the road with a tank of slurry when buzzer sounded and level sensor defective came up on dash. I have to switch off and on tractor to clear but always comes back after a few mins driving. I assume it is a faulty sensor as the fault...

    6920s back end whine

Only put 4wd on for a trial, was thinking maybe the 4wd was stuck on causing the whine. Will drop the oil and check the suction screens, how many suction screens on these tractors and locations?

    6920s back end whine

My 2004 6920s auto quad has a bad back end whine. Hopefully someone might have some idea as to what the issue might be so I can mentally prepare for the repair bill😅 it’s always had a bit of a whine since I’ve owned the tractor but I think it’s getting worse now. Only audible when travelling at...

John Deere 6630 hunting at idle

Reviving old thread. My 6920s is doing similar for the past few weeks. It’s not bad, just sounds like it’s going to cut out for a split second and then jumps back to life. Only does it on idle and only happens once every 2-5 mins or so at idle. It never stalls, just drops rpm for a split second...

    John deere 6920S Alternator warning

Quick update, Think I have solved this issue. Cleaned the body earth and the legs of the two big fuses over the battery with some Emery cloth and haven’t had the issue for the past few weeks. The body earth didn’t look bad to be honest, but the fuses were dirty and slightly corroded, so I would...

    John deere 6920S Alternator warning

Thanks for all the replies. Will clean all body earths at the weekend and see how that goes. Will also check pillar wiring, but I would assume a fuse would blow if there was a wire stripped there? @marco Is a dash just a straight swap or is there some coding to be done? @Tractor Tim Does the...

    John deere 6920S Alternator warning

Hi I hope there are some JD experts on here. I have a John deere 04 6920S that throws up an alternator warning on the dash every now and then. Sometimes it comes on every few minutes and sometimes its can say off for over 20mins. It can stay on for over a minute, and other times it only comes...
