Yea get one with the JCB axle (5 Stud) if you can! i had to rebuild a few hubs on the 8 stud axles! there a great machine, pretty much a slimed down 526s.
you don't need the fuel tank off! but they are a real pain to do! did one last week on a 531 70 and its a one handed job at full reach:mad: i should have the cable in stock if you need one at a good price.

My guess would be it has stripped the shaft between the motor and the drive! Common enough! I'm up that way ether end of this week or start of next, if you had the drive out I could collect it and repair it if you wanted to go this way!
can't remember how much for the parts, if its not to bad they can be repaired fairly cheap! a second hand one would be running about £1000-£1500 about another £1000 at a guess!
How much by hand? like 1/4 turn or so? Alot more than the other side? just trying to get an idea! I have rebuild kubota drives before if its not that bad, some times its cheaper to replace!
Where you based at?
If it is the "tunnel" bushes then its a fair old job to split and replace those bushes! you will need to remove the drop box to get the bolts of the centre shaft, also the hose all have to be removed at the valve block (the tm300's have joints at the middle)! best to remove the vertical pin...
Id say its most likely your brake piston seals alright! not a bad job, but your axle needs stripped down to do them! but just be sure that it is your piston seals, check around the reservoir and master cylinder in the cab! Also if you check the axle oil level a few times to see if it rises...
I find when servicing most loaders telehandlers etc that filters will need changed before recommended! I blow them out at every smaller (500 hr) service and change them at 1000hr service! Alot of the time the light will come on before 1000hrs depending what the customer is doing with the machine!
I have two batteries and a split charging set up! the second battery is the biggest truck battery i could get, (not sure of the No.) it charges as your driving and holds a great charge can start the compressor about 10 -12 times without starting the van, the slit charge also insures the vans own...
I Have the same thing in mine! 6000w Ring inverter, runs every thing i need, 100l compressor, inverter welder (although not for very long) 9" grinder all day long! wouldn't be with out it now!

No I never need to fill them, was told a long time ago never fill filters first as you can get dirt in this way! Can't say I have always stuck to this though;)
If you are doing the sediment filter only then you will have to loosen the little bleed screw on the filter head (black plastic thumb screw) turn the key on and once you hear it starting to pump close it up and it should bleed ok! prob have o turn key a few times as said above.
