Sprayed our cattle twice in 8 weeks with Flypor to no avail.... anyone else having success keeping them away? 3 cases of NFE so far and don't want any more.... thinking of using garlic buckets??

Cattle housed in Nov/Dec, then mucked out early feb ready to calve 1st March... so 2-3 weeks of muck, but def cleaner. I get what people are saying about warmth, but theres a LOT of bad stuff under there....

Scrapers on the front of the loader are great, problem is, you don't know how much pressure you are putting down and you soon start going through the rubbers!

They get minerals in the tmr which has been tailored to the silage analysis, but if we have any more stillborns I will definitely do a PM on calf and take a few bloods on the cows. Touch wood, things running a bit smoother at the moment but time will tell!!

Not recommended as such, but I've been doing it for 4 years now and they said it was a good idea to do it....

I've had iodine problems before so been putting pour on on their backs for the last 4 weeks....

Had 2 cows that have calved within a week of eachother that have presented normally, calved within an hour of waters breaking, but calves have been stillborn and I would say dead for a good few hours as eyes had already begun to whiten over.....any thoughts?

Yeah i think I'm going to bite the bullet and get some Kaiwaka trousers. The Kiwis seem to know their stuff when it comes to clothing

Its the time of year when leggins come back on 24/7..... I'm fed up with taking them off at the end of a long day to find my trousers wet through with sweat.... does anyone have any leggins that don't make them sweat. I've looked on Kiwikit, the kiwis seem to have most other workwear sussed out...
