Currently running a Weaving GD 6m and I’m finding it difficult to keep the land level due to its impressive ability to not disturb the surface. Just starting in the 3rd year of spring drilling and the fields are definitely becoming corrugated due to wheelings etc.
Would like to add a tine drill...
Any thoughts on how effective it is ?
Considering getting one as the paraplow followed by the press is leaving it to soft for the GD to follow later in the wet.
Wouldn’t bother as very happy with the paraplow, but have to do all the farm again this year as it’s all washed together with all the...
Anyone got one ?
Any good ?

Got an issue with the dryer I need some guidance on please.
Dryer starts, heats up ok, but doesn’t come back in once grain temperature is reached as it trips the high limit stat.
Should it go to a low flame then come back in when the temperature drops 🤔
Pondering adding a front topper to speed up the bi weekly mowing. Any advice, good or bad I should think about before deciding ?

Sorry to say I've had to go through the small claims court, person I'm claiming against hasn't responded and now I've took it to the next stage of a CCJ.
Anyone any experience they'd like to share as this is all new to me ?
Happy if its PM
Tried Winter Linseed for the first and last time. Hammered by birds and ended up with only a few tonnes and a collection of impurities/seeds.
So, going to get it through a colour sorter to clean it up and expecting approx 6 tonne at the end, but haven’t a clue what to do with it. Will get it...
In response to the, Bye It’s Wet thread, out here in the dry East I’m more concerned about the lack of rain. Dykes still dry, underdrains not running, can still walk the fields in trainers.
Anyone else thinking it could be an interesting year if we get a dry Spring 🤔
Not had this before, had 2 bags of dressed seed I’d over yeared, dropped them into the drill late this afternoon and rather surprised to see grain weevil drop in the hopper as well 🙈
So, dropped it back on the floor and hoovered the hopper out to clear up the bugs.
How to waste 2 hours and 1...
Wasn’t a happy day yesterday
As title, bugs have made an appearance in the wheat shed, bit frustrating as nothing in the pitfall traps, nothing found at 1st mill but rejected for ergot, got to the cleaners and they found them so it made the round trip and is now back in the shed. This is a...
Pro's and cons of both please.
Currently on Sim cards but getting drop outs quite frequently.
Not sure if its the equipment or the area I'm in.
About to replace the current systems so have a chance to do either going forward.
Your thoughts TFF collective please.
