    Vat On A Trade-in

Wrong again margin scheme can be used for more than just cars. Only been in the trade 30 years so I am still new to the job but think I am correct. The vat chain stops when its paid and not reclaimed ie purchased by a none vat registered customer. Hence vat on the profit only.

Thats just drivers ability to adjust to a new machine Anyone that has not been in a modern tractor for even 10 years will be in the same position for any brand. Jumping into the latest machine that you have spent the last 5 years on is going to be easier than jumping into a new brand.

    John Deere reducing dealerships

I think the problem is not reliability but the efficiency of repair Go into any mainline tractor dealer and the workshops are full of broken down machines The lessor dealers are less efficient to deal with breakdowns. The UK has been brainwashed into thinking if you don't drive the most...

    John Deere reducing dealerships

Momentum or lack of it. To sell large numbers of units you need a large dealership, otherwise it takes a long time for small dealers to grow, fear from potential buyers as the innovators need to buy before the followers will. In Germany deutz is third behind fendt 1st and deere 2nd...

How the supermarkets came to own UK agriculture

If farmers spent just 1% of the subsidies they have recieved since it started on super market shares then they would own them and be able to choose the head man to run it in their interests, you only need 51% of any company to call the shots. They would also have had a share of the profits and...
