I’m a member so will I have to register for tickets for a certain day or will I still get the option of all the days? I probably will go as it’ll be the last year I could take the eldest boy before he starts school

we will hopefully be there as yorkshire born and bred members, mrs 4 course enjoys the show not so much from the farming side ,I enjoy going and having a look at and chat to the firms I deal with and sometimes engaging with a new contact ( though Im aware that that some firms now feel its irrelevant) but its mainly a social event (lunch ,meal on way home with pals etc) and this year weve got just a chance of a hoss we bred ( its taken years)taking part in a main ring event and that would be fantasmaglorious even if it was/ is the lowest of the low class.having said that on our wall is a photo of mrs 4 course winning the yfc dress making and modelling class lets just say a few years ago

We as a family love the Highland show, so next year as my daughter loves it so much we're going at least two days. I would think alot of guys down there will be looking forward to the Yorkshire as well. You never miss something till its gone.

Show going ahead over 4 days with limited attendance of 20k per day.

How many farmers will go

Asking as an exhibitor

What happens to the other 3 days when 20k people turn up on the first day and refuse to social distance/wear masks outside on a very hot day/ stick to the one way system etc etc, will they get shut down or just get more covid marshalls in on the second day to bark orders at people??

Deaths today were 43 ( and some of these were from months ago! ) out of a total daily death average of at least 1600 !! ALL shows and events should be allowed to run as normal come June/July.

Word is the cattle are being split. Dairy there on Tues and wednesday . Beef on Thurs Friday.
Show team have booked space but will decide in June if it is worth going. Seems there may be no prize money, only refund of entry fees.

Friend posted this on Facebook yesterday.
Will they moving the beef cattle into the same stalls as the dairies? Or will everyone have to be there all 4 days?

Stopped bothering some 25 years or so ago, because (a) stuck in the car park for 2 hours because all the parking stewards decided to bugger off home early, (b) most of the stallholders we dealt with had decided it was no longer viable for them to attend, (c) Mrs and daughter sick of queueing for the ladies loos, (d) couldn't really see anything different from the previous year., almost forgot (e) queueing to get in, in the first place.
