Currently have HE x cows but not impressed with there Mothering in the first 24hrs and quite a bit of bag trouble. What replacements should I look at. Must be easy calving and fleshing.
Came from sac health scheme farm. Now on assured farm and not mixed with any of our stock at this point. Can test at potential purchasers request. Genuine sale will go to remainder of the our cows if not sold before turn out.
Simmental x holstein/Friesians heifer. Put to a high index Angus bull. I am hoping this will give a nice suckler and finish the Steers for specialist markets. What's everyone's thoughts? Probably going to do this with about 15 heifers.
I have the chance of ten large dexter cows. My plan is the run with Hereford/angus type bull for two gestations and cull the dexters. Keeping their heifer offspring and putting to larger bull depending what they will stand. I have a good outlet for all steers. An affordable way to start farming...
