246mm here on the ards peninsula since the start of the year. 586mm from mid October to today, 63mm of that in the first 10 days. Everyone not from the ards seems to be under the impression the ards is all dry ground. It is when we get normal rainfall of around 750mm a year but we aren’t geared...

    Front axle suspension accumulators.

There will likely still be a fair bit of pressure in them, if you slacken the pipe on the back of them just enough to let the oil start to weep out and just leave them for a while, try to take them off with any oil pressure in them and it’s messy and alarming

    Fendt Terminal

Don’t see why you couldn’t change to 10” screen although you will need it programmed to the tractor. You will also likely need to buy a new one at £2500, fendt did have a price for reconditioned ones but had none in stock a few months ago there. Also any 900 series at breakers ive ever seen have...

Udder crean for a hack on my finger

Neutragena works best for me, but what works better is wearing nitrile milking gloves when you are working to stop your hands drying out. I don’t wear them in the summer but nearly always in the winter, if I don’t my hands crack and bleed in the winter. To heal bad cracks as someone has said...

    Zero grazing.

Always cut as soon as it’s dry enough to get on the ground, last year was the 6th feb , previous 3 years to that were the 2nd , 3rd and 4th of January. If you miss a dry spell and it turns wet then it doesn’t take long for it to start beating you. Also like to clean fields off of winter growth...

    Moving a meal bin

That’s what I thought, recently moved a 16ton 6 leg bin, concrete was about 5” when I was drilling the holes, had thought of welding an extra bit onto each foot for another bolt to go through just for wind but haven’t got round to it yet

    Skid steers

Yea often wonder what the environmental impact is of making all this emissions equipment to fit to vehicles and then having to get someone out to repair it comparded to straight forward engines especially like you say small engines that don’t even use much fuel. I’d like a skid steer with a...

    Skid steers

So physically they are the same size just bigger load capacity ? How long have you been working with jcb robots? Had much trouble with them?

    Skid steers

Is there much difference between a 135 jcb and a 175? They look similar size. Looking something for running a sawdust bedder on and the jcb looks like the one you’d have less chance of injury mounting and dismounting
