We are the same here, we have some beef and sheep as well so 1 robot would be a nice starting point to build upon.

How many do you have in? Housed it grazed? Where I used to work we put 3 in in a fully housed set up and I was amazed! I’m now back home farming and we’re thinking of 1 robot with the cows going out to graze

Well when we were looking at a parlour the rep wasn’t really interest so it kind of put us off. We’re having Lely reps out again to do some drawings

We went to look at 3 that had been in 6 weeks in Shepton mallet the other week and he seemed pleased with how things were going but I always have the bad things you hear about them I the back on my mind!

1 robot with 60 cows is what we’re thinking. Allows me to manage the cows well, keep ancloser eye on them as well as time for feeding calves etc. Thanks

Yes we’ve got quotes for new parlours too, it’s eating up the difference in cost especially as in future my dad will retire so it’s wether to employ someone else or robots which would allow me to do the day to day running myself
