Yeah also I think its kinda different with air pressure, you’ll get 10/12 bar at the pump when pumping slurry but it’ll be more like 7/8 bar depending on distance etc in the field. With air you’ll get 10 bar in the field once it’s chased the slurry through, and with the drag pipe being...
Yeah from my experience volume is grand on the last 50% of the blow out but we’re often blowing 2000 meter + and the shear weight/resistance means it’s relatively slow for the first part. The 7/71 we have is 250cfm at 7 bar so plenty flow😃
My old Ingersoll rand 7/71 has packed in and I’m looking to buy a new/tidy second hand compressor. The standard max bar on compressors is usually 7 bar but u can get some that work to 10 bar and the pto type compressors seem to go to 10 bar.
that would make a huge difference to blowing out...
We’re looking into installing a 33kw Anaerobic Digester to run off just dairy slurry from 450 cows. Just producing enough electricity fir ourselves. Have been to see one down in leeds that was working well. Anyone else got/know of one?
Just hoping there will be enough energy in the dairy slurry...
Thanks for the reply’s... I left the job and when I came back a man in his mid seventies had managed to get it off😅. He got in behind it with a bar some way & chapped it off... what a guy
Trying to get the pulley off the back of the kuhn power harrow, tried everything, there was 3 allen headed bolts in partially threaded holes originally... I took them out and screwed them into the fully threaded holes thinking that would release the hub but it’s still solid?
anyone any ideas? 😃
Ah yeah that makes sense. We’d always sow the headlands at the end though? If we start off a fence line as u say doing 1 run then overlap number 2 by half we’d be good to go
We’ve a one pass kuhn accord combi and I’m looking into setting the control box for 24 meter tramilines. It has 4 shut offs in the hopper, 2 either side. If I set the rythmus to number 8 it only tramlines on number 4. I was assuming it needs to tramline on 4 & 8 if I want to work at 24 meter...
Trying to fit a stortz 5” coupling onto a new piece of snaptite pipe that I have,
I’ve fitted loads before but this pipe is ever so slightly smaller inside diameter and won’t slide on, I can get it over the first rib with a heck of a struggle but it’s nothing like going right the way up...
Yeah good, its a great piece of kit. Saving a fair bit of fertiliser over the year as well. Mine will be in its 4th year now.
I’ve had some bad luck with actuators. I’ve replaced 5 [emoji24]. When I strip them down theres no corrosion inside they’re like new. The KV tech guy has said it could...
With my old spreader we used to just drive tightish to the fence with only the inside side spreading. It worked a treat[emoji1]. Shame I couldn’t do that with the KV although its a bit of a ball-ache running out on that side fairly quickly ?
