yes that’s the one I changed the coulters as wearing metal couldn’t be sourced and also I wanted to go direct, I’ve got a few more mods to do but works well so far.

I let it cool naturally for about 5–10 minutes then cooled the furthest point from heat first finishing at the hook.

I did think that although they must be heat forged, I can always re temper it I suppose.

So the other day I decided to heat my tractors drop hook as it has a slight twist from a trailer going over at some stage. The hook didn’t move even tho red hot, then I slowly quenched it. Could this of been a bad move or will it still be as strong as before?

I’ve got a 460 evolution at the minute which is the same width body as the 600, which is on 680 tyres and will Just squeeze through a 12ft gateway.

What size tracks I can’t find dimensions for the 600 only the 770/780 and it says 635 mm tracks 3.49 metres 735 mm 3.79metres

So if it was on middle width or wide tracks how feasible is it to swap it too narrow tracks to bring the width down?

Oh good so it’ll go through a 12ft gateway anyway.
