Now you're just being daft
The damage can last for years so with other commodity prices reasonably high you'd be daft to let for spuds unless there was a massive premium.
I was being offered £500 acre twenty years ago for non irrigated when land
was selling for a quarter of today's price.

Average this year for me with low disturbance sumo, then powerharrow drill combi is about 28l ha odd field has been expressed first that is 2l ha and some has been rolled but not actually measured fuel use for rolling but won’t be 2l ha I would think. Abnormal year here tho as so dry I’ve only pulled the sumo 8-9 inch deep.
Rolling here on light land with a bit of travelling around was about 2l/ha. Diesel burnt travelling between fields still has to be counted!

My brother was in Kenya a few years back and there was a lad barefoot on the side of the road with a laptop plugged into a hgv,no need to wait 20 years.
Our 2017 T7040 auto command threw up a hydraulic stop code on Saturday causing a lot of panic. It was due a service so we changed all the hydraulic filters and dropped the oil. Struck it up but still it was beeping Chege our mechanic who cannot read or write and has only just learnt English and my son decided it might be a sensor swapped one from a T6080 and all was good. You really don’t need to be a rocket scientist there’s a lot of Technofear out there.

Does anyone else think this is just advertising how long you can run a Fendt for, and making the prices asked for a 10000 hr model look reasonable?
PS I think you could run most tractors to those hours with a first class operator and maintenance, look at the 45000 hr JD 6410(?) in Devon or the mega hour Leyland dong hedgecutting.
