Thank you all, took the alloy housing off this afternoon, housing was turning in wishbone. Wishbone end looks ok. Needle bearing was bone dry. Socking in diesel now. Is needle bearing available or with the complete alloy housing ?

Inside width of one of my cattle shed is 27' with traditional buildings each side which include cubicles and loose housing. currently the 27' area has three 8'x4' feeders, which makes scrapping time consuming. What minimum size feed passage would be suitable ? with 2 rows of slatts each side...

I have a b577 trimmer, and the cables are a pain to adjust. they are not Bowden, you have to undo the two Allen screw to expose the adjusting nut underneath the alloy cone.

Helo, did you convert your 577 to electric ? I have just bought a 577 but it has issues with the cables. I have the feeling that they are to long. and the alloy adjuster is different to what I had before.

What straight phosphate fertiliser are people using ? Years ago, (last used around 1988) we put down Basic gafsa from Adam Lythgoe, a long gone Name. My uncle swore by it. I can see the red and white bags now.3 or 4 bags to the acre every 3 years, on grazing ground. I think it was 35% P. Thanks.
