Planting Spring Oats today
Had 2 of these for company.
Flying very low and slow, I thought one was going to land at one point it was that low, awesome machines.
I was just going to suggest Bob Davies Transport!
His trucks are moving all over the UK, he brought a Grain Trailer down to Taunton from Scotland for us.
On one of my NH trips I was sat on the quayside in Greece, waiting for the ferry back to Italy, I spotted trucks from almost every country in Europe, and also a day cab style long nose Volvo from Iran. Global logistics is quite amazing really.
I always remember a packed lunch or any break eaten in the field has always been referred to as a Nose bag. I assume from the bag that a working horse would have had.
This is the same field of Palladium today.
It also went very yellow at about the same time as yours.
It's had 70kg of N so far (Yara Axan) and now needs it's 2nd dose, it responded quickly to the Nitrogen and has kept its colour.
Fairly soon after I put the N on it rained yet again, and I was...
Had a brief look at some wheat today. This is I reckon our best field of wheat, sadly its also our smallest!
Some Palladium after Spring Oats,
Unfortunately there are large areas of this!
Typhoon after OSR
Many years ago when I was about 10 my Grandfather, who was a very overweight man, gave me some sound and memorable dietary advice.
"Never get as fat as me boy, I've not seen my pecker for 40 years"
Difficult to forget that!
One of my friends is a former Royal Marine, and he also drinks black Tea as a result of him serving in Afghanistan, no reliable supply of fresh milk and what there was, was Yak milk!
