Anyone know roughly what weight a 20ft x4ft x 6" concrete panel would be . Came across some secondhand and wondering would a tractor loader lift them . Also have a shed here with shuttered wall`s and would like to use the above panel`s to divide off a bay of it to hold grain . Shed is 40ft wide...

My bad what i meant by roof truss is that roof steel is also made from 8x5 steel beam same as pillars

No this was just a basic question I asked 2 different shed men to see if it could be done . And the answers they came back with .

Neither man mentioned doing anything to the stanchions .

I don’t want to skimp on it at all . Should have added his reason . He says no need to go that big for a single skin galv sheeting roof . If shed was wider he’d go bigger steel .

Local shed man replaced the roof light`s on a similar shed in work cherry picker underneath and cut the nail`s flush with the timber with a sawzall . Then handed the new sheet`s out through hole to a lad on the roof . Lad in cherry picker lifted the top sheet from underneath so the new sheet...

Use the same here only cut them different so i can use the handles to carry them about if needed

If i was doing it for my self i`d use 10 x 5 H iron or what every the modern equilevant name is for it now . Put a good size haunch on each end and it`ll be fine . Your only removing the corner pillar . Would be carrying double the weight if you were removing a central pillar . That`s what i`d...
