very tidy repair. From past experience all i would suggest when cutting the patch plate no 90 corners if possible. fish mouth plates spread the tension and less likely to crack more
passed one of these on the M74 motorway last night pulling a low loader with a pick up on the trailer not something you see very often did any one else spot it
I've been looking at how to break down large diamiter timber to put it through my processor looking at 10 to 12ft long uwards of 3ft diamiter straight grain wood.
i'm wondering if anyone has tryed welding a blade to the bottom of a excavator bucket put the end of the timber against the blade...
Anyone having problems with the locking pins on the jcb tool carrier headstock snapping had a few go and it's looking like they have been over heat treated and now very brittle
what about a 15 to 20 degree swivel left or right for the spreader body with the size and weight of the machine i don't think it would affect the balance of it on the field and sort the spread problem
If your filling lots if tedder tires using the 1.5 ltr bottle I line them up and drill a 10mm hole in the base if the bottle then insert the blow gun from the compressor and blow the tire seal into the tyres have filled rear tractor wheels with full bottle in about 5 seconds
Made these few years ago make a good wide base I have small feet under the base to allow for uneven floor and you might spot a place to hook the welder earth
I use my dewalt 1/2 impact gun its easy most wood bits have a hex end that is 8mm i have a 8mm impact socket so fitted the two together with a grub screw to hold it in and never had it refuse to go through a post
