Hi all,
myself and my partner are currently putting our house on the market with a view to spending a few months looking for the perfect new property. To do this without spending too much of the proceeds of the sale we really need to rent as cheaply as possible during that time. As we also have lots of things to store and 2 vehicles to park, it crossed my mind that a small spot on a farm for a static and some space in a barn would be just the job.
I lived on a farm in this way several years ago for a good 2 or 3 years so I know the do's and don'ts etc.
I am an OU student and my partner is a self employed plumber and heating engineer. We have a well behaved and respectful 6-year old daughter, a dog and a cat.
We need to be within about 5 miles of Bradford on Avon as our daughter is at school there, Dave usually works around Bath but is happy to drive further, especially as it is only temporary.
We can be flexible about the accommodation, if you already have a static that's great. Otherwise we are happy to buy one and get it on site ourselves, Dave can sort out the plumbing and electrics etc, then we can take it away when we leave or do a deal to leave it with you, whatever you like really.
We also need at least 2 parking spaces and some dry storage for all our stuff. We currently have a 4 bed house, a garage and a couple of sheds so will need quite a bit of space.
As long as we have these things and electricity and water are included so we only have to buy gas bottles we can pay £600 per month, cash.
If you have got this far thank you so much for taking the time to read this,
Laura :)

As well as posting on here, how about putting a card in Mole Valley Farmers at Frome and asking the auctioneers in Frome Market if they will put a small ad in their weekly newsletter for you? (y)
