It's kind of helped keep the temperatures lower than they originally predicted which is nice, not baking us quite so bad. Hopefully now that the smoke is starting to clear that means some rain will come in behind it. The apple trees are really starting to bloom now too. Hopefully there won't be any hard frosts now and they waited long enough. The water is almost all gone but grass is looking ok back here and there's a lot of wildflowers showing up since I haven't let the cows on it yet. A nice gentleman told me the ones I thought were toadflax are actually buffalo beans so happy about that! Have to figure out what the others are.... Had a pair of geese nesting on the pile of wood but something must have found the nest as they're gone now. Was looking forward to some goslings!</span></span></p></blockquote><p></p>
