Was reading about this earlier: as many as 130 million pigs killed out of an estimated 300mil in China and the slaughtering may continue for 4-6 years. That is assuming a vaccine will be produced but there is no sign so far of any break through on this. Think about the fact that the Chinese pig herd is half of the global total so one quarter of the worlds pigs have been killed due to asf. supposedly there’s a shortage of protein in the world because of it. makes me wonder two things. Firstly, perhaps this is why the vegan rubbish is actually a play to get the population onto plant proteins to prevent an uprising of upset meat eating bellies. Secondly, if we are experiencing this huge demand for meat, why does my arse seem to hurt so much after selling cattle lately?
