AHA rent

An AHA tenancy agreement is a very valuable asset and not paying the rent could prejudice that asset. I would advise to save costs elsewhere if possible before you don't pay an AHA rent. If you are left with no other options then talk to the landlord and delay it with their permission, this would be a less risky strategy.
These are tricky times, if you need some formal advice please message me directly. Stay well

Hmmm regular job aha ??
What’s yourpoint, How many small farms can actually pay a proper wage. Most people have other jobs or are self employed. Yes it is one of the criteria for succession. They are a valuable asset but to purge yourself for ever just to gain it isn’t living in the real world.

An aha is as secure as you can get, PROVIDED you pay your rent within the 28 days of the rent falling due. About the only way to lose an aha tenancy is to fail to pay your rent on time, and despite what a landlord will tell you, they would rather not have an aha tenancy because of the lower rents and the security it provides.
I cant stress enough.... pay your rent, on time, at all costs!
