How about maintaining air travel at 1980’s levels?
Yes. Air travel produces no methane but it produces huge volumes of nitrogen dioxide. Passengers also suffer lung retraction inside planes.

Does the emissions from air travel include the emissions from building the plane, building and operating the factory that builds the plane, mining, processing and transporting the materials for the plane, building of the airports and infrastructure to operate the plane? Not to mention the environmental cost to all the destinations that people travel to.
It stretches my imagination to think that ruminant agriculture is as damaging as the aviation industry.

I think you’ll find that Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) only apply to food from livestock. :X3:
