Angle of dangle

I have a slight problem when using a small bucket mounted on an IH 574 of gauging when the bucket is level. I can only see a couple of inches of the top right corner from the cab. The loader arms are not self levelling and I usually can't get the angle not quite right! It's not helped by the fact that the previous owner of the barn concreted in sections that vary up to an inch in height then smoothed them out with a thin smear of concrete which often cracks under the weight of the wheels. I suppose if I was was using it daily or even weekly I would get the knack but I don't so I haven't. Any ideas?

Simple enough job to knock up a level indicator bar- the one on my quicke has a bar connected to the headstock that passes though a hoop at the top of the boom. Said bar has a bend in it so when bend is in middle of hoop I know that bucket will be level on floor...

Alternatively can you not feel when the bucket is level using the hydraulics? Ie put the boom down crowded back and tilt forward until you feel the bucket come level on the floor.

You have my sympathies about your floor though, I am on rough stone only that was poorly levelled in the past and cleaning out is a right PITA!
