Annual valuation

Wouldn't waste the money on getting a valuer in to do it especially right now when everyone is looking to make cost savings here and there.

Most people pretty much have the same type of things that need valued each year end and know what it cost to buy or grow. Just vary it a bit if prices have moved a lot one way or the other from the year before.

A decent accountant should pick you up on it if he thinks any of your valuations are wildly different from others he is seeing on his books.

Completely pointless exercise. Might put your profit down this year but puts it up by the same amount next year and a pattern like that is more likely to attract the attention of HMRC.
Ahhh

That's the fatal flaw in your
argument ...................

'Profit' ;):D;)

(The fact that my angry ex. wife , a chartered accountant, has written to HMRC alleging God knows what, no doubt will get me plenty of attention anyway.)

According to this forum, a one man band running 120 mancy old sucklers should keep me ' honest ' for years to come.:D
