Just had the call from meadow foods to say I’ve had an antibotic failure... yet I’ve not used any antibiotics for a long while. I’ve had no cases of mastitis for a month or so so not treated any milk cows. Currently their are 12 dry cows which run with the milk cows and none of them have had dry tubes only teat sealant. So where do I stand on this one? Tested the bulk tank as it is with 3 milkings in, passed, no signs of antibiotics. NFU aren’t being very help other than helping me with a possible claim, meadow foods say they are only paying 1ppl for the milk sold which failed the test, yet how can it have antibiotics in when I haven’t used any? Any help on this one appreciated
