Asbestos & paint

I have an old asbestos garage which obviously came with the property and would like to paint it, is this ok to do? Any special paint or any normal exterior paint do the job? Thanks

I am not sure about this but I would guess that you would need to make sure it dry right through esp if it's gone sort of fibrous with age.

Hi - try referring to the attached link issued by HSE - hopefully that helps (in my experience painting is the exception rather than the norm as it requires the sheets to be in a vgc which most are not)
