So lost a ewe last week and almost another this week. Vet thinks it's a B12 deficiency and since I have been injecting it the ewe has improved. So why would my ewes be deficient? Anyone else had similar problems? Both had sore feet, both treated and seemed to be on mend, first started acting odd staring in to wall and always drinking. Gave prop glycol and within hours was dead. Second was pulled out in to an individual pen was eating and drinking well then went out Friday night and was lying on side looking dead. It is now sitting up and can stand if lifted. Any ideas?
