Buying ewe lambs and selling as hoggets

I crossed a lot of my texel crosses with lleyn ram years back and for while 80% of my flock was lleyn crosses. Very nice ewes and lambs but I found that I'd flushed they had crazy number of lambs. I had 1 had 7 lambs one year. 5 alive

Is big area for sheep your county ?

Yea I live 10 miles away from him and there's sheep in a lot of the fields in between full of sheep

Yeah as said. Sheep every where round here. Seems to be either dairy or sheep round here

I've tried rotational grazing this year and the lambs and ewes have definitely done better and had less worming issues. It is a little bit extra work but the sheep are getting used to it now and know they are going to fresh pasture. We work it so they are next to the pens once a month to do any routine treatments etc, works well for us.

Try my best to be rotation grazing. Since started some years back defiantly more grass
