When dumping ( returning ) oil through the spools on an MX the oil is going against approximately 60 psi. IF the trailer tips almost vertical & there's no gravity to create more than 60 psi the trailer will not come down. There's a modification that allows a partial free flow return ( a few pints per minute ) to overcome this issue, it's on a service bulletin. I had it mind that this was fitted to MXs but it's a very long time since I worked on them now. Perhaps if you could post a few photos of the spool set on your MX135 I could see 8f it's fitted. You are looking for a small diameter rubber pipe & I think its on the RHS looking from the rear.
