Tallage is a leading agro-economic research and analysis bureau and consultancy specializing in European and world grain and oilseed markets with main areas of expertise in grains, oilseeds and plant protein markets, as well as agricultural by-products, animal feeds, and biofuels. Her session will take place at the <strong>Cereals AHDB Theatre</strong> on the first day of the event at <strong>13:30</strong>. This session on <strong>Global Grain Outlook</strong> will be perfect for anyone putting in the steps to plan for the next five years, as this will provide expert insight into the business trajectory for the next half decade.</p><p></p><p>As part of the <strong>Cereals International Farming Superstars, Alison Stewart,</strong> CEO of FAR will bring arable best practices to Cereals from as far afield as New Zealand. The Foundation of Arable Research (FAR) is an applied research organisation responsible to New Zealand arable farmers. FAR funds research programmes, often in collaboration with government funded organisations or educational institutions. <strong>Alison Stewart</strong> has developed an encyclopedic knowledge of arable farming in New Zealand and will bring insight and knowledge that you won’t find anywhere else.</p><p></p><p><strong>Amy Reynolds</strong> has been an economist with the International Grains Council since 1998, where her main area of interest is the wheat sector. Prior to joining IGC, she was an economist in the meat and livestock industry, specialising in the beef sector. <strong>Amy Reynolds </strong>will lead her own seminar on the second day at <strong>9:30</strong> discussing the forecast over the coming year for grain, and will also take part in the <strong><em>How Resilient is Your Business?</em></strong> panel. Her experience from being in the industry for so long will provide incredible knowledge, and having her attend the event is a testament to the amazing quality of education available at <strong>Cereals</strong> <strong>2019</strong>.</p><p></p><p><strong>Minette Baters</strong> co-founded the campaigning initiatives 'Ladies in Beef' and the 'Great British Beef Week'. She has been an NFU member from grassroots through to County Chairman; she served as Wiltshire’s Council delegate and also as Regional Board Chairman for the South West. Minette has also been a member of NFU Governance Board and served as NFU deputy president for four years from 2014 to 2018. Her input into the <strong><em>Preparing For Change</em></strong> panel at <strong>10:00</strong> on the first day will be essential and informative.</p><p></p><p>With <strong>AHDB</strong> playing such a crucial role in the development of <strong>Cereals</strong>, <strong>Susannah Bolton</strong> , Knowledge Exchange Director at AHDB will be apart of the <strong><em>How Do We Measure Up?</em></strong> Panel. This will discuss how farmers can increase their farm business productivity, as well as benchmarking to measure success.
