Well we did it, last Saturday night through our village and 2 adjoining villages, it was a bit nerve wracking as we didn't know how it would go, but was a massive success. Al of a sudden we were village heroes. Raised a bit for a local young carers charity. Fortunately we had a volunteer to be Father Christmas, c/w outfit to ride on the sleigh. Tonight we did a tour of the West and centre of Warwick, much more relaxing having done it already. It went really well, lots of people out giving us a wave, surprising how many people are in their pyjamas at 7pm 😂 It was really easy to advertise on Facebook & feels good when you get lots of compliments back on Facebook, especially this year when kids won't get to see Father Christmas like they normally do. I think it was good PR for farming & well worth the effort. Today would've been my Dad's 80th birthday & Im sure he'd have been very proud.
