Any recommendations please for lighting up tractors with Christmas lights for a surprise Christmas tractor parade through our village

Nenagh parade in Ireland is outstanding.

Would you use 12 lights off the tractor, 240v with an inverter or even battery powered lights especially on the wheels ?

Well we did it, last Saturday night through our village and 2 adjoining villages, it was a bit nerve wracking as we didn't know how it would go, but was a massive success. Al of a sudden we were village heroes. Raised a bit for a local young carers charity. Fortunately we had a volunteer to be Father Christmas, c/w outfit to ride on the sleigh.

Tonight we did a tour of the West and centre of Warwick, much more relaxing having done it already. It went really well, lots of people out giving us a wave, surprising how many people are in their pyjamas at 7pm 😂
It was really easy to advertise on Facebook & feels good when you get lots of compliments back on Facebook, especially this year when kids won't get to see Father Christmas like they normally do. I think it was good PR for farming & well worth the effort. Today would've been my Dad's 80th birthday & Im sure he'd have been very proud.

Ours came off eBay, mainly on AA batteries but also some on usb lead into tractor charger socket. Also one tractor had an inverter so 240 v lights & more importantly a big speaker to belt out the Christmas tunes, that’s what gets the attention
I’ll post some pictures later
