I will give it a go without the wheels. Do you use the bean following harrow? We've only the harrows attached to the wheels.Done many acres without wheels, nothing to worry about IMO.

Hello John, sorry, pressed too many buttons.
Andrew, Do to think a twin tine kit would some how fit on a V drill? mounted a bit like your bean harrows
Hello John,
I think they would have to be well staggered to avoid blocking, then i think depth control might suffer as they might "kick" about a bit more in work as too far from the main springs?
Depends how you mount them really.
Looks a hell of job that. I keep meaning to look at putting some pre-em markers on the v-drill. In most situations we can see old tramlines from previous crop, but every so often some fields are difficult to see. I liked the Sumo Dts idea of the relevant coulters lifting out of work when on tramline. Not so easy to retro fit to claydon though.
If you would like a few pics of the adjustable bits I'd be happy to text afew if you know anyone who could knock it together for you. You maybe able to make out ours are drilled so fixed, if I could do it again I'd clamp the tines on so I'd be able to move them and maybe run inline with the tines in stead of inbetween the rows or but some straight harrows on it
