Coincidence?

Had 4 cows out of 40 pd positive served in october come bulling again December/January, 4 bulls used in total but the 4 cows that have reabsorbed were all by one sire? Coincidence? Typically all sexed :banghead:

I had 1 too week after tb test and being pd’d.
She’s come bulling and looks like she’s held but went from early in the block to the end.
Little mite was only 4” long. Smallest I’d ever seen.
Guess I’ll never know, like yours what was responsible or just one of those things.

We've never had so many repeats as we're getting at the moment and think it is entirely down to poor 5th cut

Common to have the odd abortion following a TB test as it is stress related due to "out of routine" stuff

It is another negative to TB testing that we seem to accept along with both the disruption to our daily routine(s), danger to both men & our animals and stress to everything.
You wouldn't mind if there was an end in sight but looking at the figures, TB culling etc is just getting worse year on year. I really don't know how farmers cope in hotspot areas. I think I would give it up as a bad job TBH

seen them change their minds at 6 weeks and actually picked up the prawn sized fetus......I have a cow that gets PD'd in calf and a month later starts bulling every 3 weeks.....But still in calf, almost like her other ovary is still cycling.......Not every pregnancy will be viable and we have to accept this. Both in cows and humans.....

TBH 4 out of 40 to change their minds is not that bad...at least you have got a chance to serve them again....worst case is 4 to throw and then become anaestrus and not show any heats....
