looking for a conventional baler please
any particular make? What age? All id say is steer clear of anything with IH on it, they didnt make a good baler, ever.
Wasn't there a good IH baler with Deere knotters, IH 445D I think (or something like that).
Personally I'd say Welger, end of story.
the 124 has a lot simpler knotter mechanism compared to the 20s iirc, its quite a bit shorter in its chanber design too, see a few in cheffins monthlys. They usually go for anything between £1000-1500
as i said earlier, still do a lot with ours, an MF 20 is ten times older than a B47 ih, and ten thousand times better too!!!!mf 20 is an antique best consigned to a museum, mf 124 would be streets ahead
