Are we not missing the point here? It's not compulsory and some may wish to decline for a variety of reasons; whether that be religion, future health concerns, conspiracy theories - whatever, it's not for us to judge. However - the social and economic expectations are for us to accept a vaccination, grudgingly or not, for the greater benefit of us, our families, friends, workmates and communities let alone the wider world. If you refuse then you should expect not to be accepted into the same free environment that we all wish to return to. I cannot walk onto a site without boots, a hard hat and a hi-viz jacket; in some cases with PPE that's so OTT compared to the risk it makes no sense - but I can't. HSE law backs up those assessing the risk. Making vaccination compulsory would be a nightmare in terms of policing that conformity even if it's added onto our passports. It's like Brexit, we should accept that a proportion of the population however small will not want the jab just as we accept that not everybody has the same views on many other topics. It's unlikely that those that refuse will become 'super-spreaders'. Let's get the majority done and move on to get our lives and the economy back on track (y) HK
